Yonder shop is a well designed space with unique, lovely, approachably designed items for your home, yourself, and your family. Every object in the store is selected because it has a story to tell. The approach is it's either well-designed, handmade, useful, beautiful, often all of the above. The aesthetic is modern while remaining warm and inviting.  There is a selection of the most contemporary makers in ceramics, mine and many others, and so much more to be explored and enjoyed. I am committed to being continually on the hunt for inspiring designers/makers who have a passion for what they do.

The storefront space was designed for flexibility.  Imagine a gathering place able to host monthly events showcasing great talent, gallery shows, and community events workshops, and trunk shows.

Visiting Artist Series -- Giselle Hicks Hand-building Two Day Intensive

250.00

APRIL 27&28 9am —4pm two day intensive.

Join Giselle Hicks in a workshop exploring the hand-built vessel using a coil and pinch technique. During this two day workshop Giselle will demonstrate how she makes her vessels while discussing the benefits and possibilities the coil and pinch technique has to offer in your own studio practice. The mornings will consist of demos and discussion and simple drawing exercises. In the afternoon, students will have the opportunity to work on their own ideas using the technique. By the end of the second day, students will (should/could) have a finished piece to fire

This is a great opportunity for all levels, from beginners interested in building strong building skills from the start to intermediate and advanced level makers that want to learn from a master craftswoman. Giselle has been featured in Architectural Digest, Sigh Unseen, Luxe, and a number of clay industry publications.
